Aerobic Kick-boxing (ages 15 and up)


Do you want to enjoy yourself and have loads of fun while the pounds drop off? If the answer is YES, then our Aerobic Kick-boxing program is for YOU. It may be time to jump into the hottest workout around Ė Aerobic Kick-boxing. Join us as we kick, punch and move our way to motivating music three times per week. No martial arts, boxing or kick-boxing experience necessary!

What is an Aerobic Kick-boxing class? It is a high-intensity blend of specific strength maneuvers, muscle-toning repetitions, unique speed drills, a killer abdominal routine and an incredible overall cardiovascular workout. This hybrid of martial arts, boxing and aerobics offers an intense cross-training and total-body workout. Equipment such as kicking bags, agility ladders, jump ropes, and boxing gloves are utilized in nearly every class. There is minimal contact between participants. Rather, we utilize the advantages of core martial arts kicks and strikes incorporated into a fitness routine that is easy for everyone to follow. One of the best aspects of our program is that no matter what the status of your current physical fitness level, the degree of difficulty of the class will naturally fall slightly above your independent level. As your own physical fitness level increases, the amount of energy that you exert will increase as well. This means the workouts become harder and more demanding as you become stronger and faster! As your cardiovascular and respiratory systems improve, so will your mental health! What better way to release everyday stress and tension than to sweat it out while listening to music and pounding on a heavy bag? The end result is a healthier mind along with a healthier body.

In RITís Aerobic Kick-boxing class, you will:

All of the participants in the class share the same goals as you and the instructor is eager to encourage and support you from the very first day.
